Patients have access to free access to UCM Virtual ER telemedicine services to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Giuliana Bruno and News10 took an in-depth look at how health insurers CDPHP and MVP Health Care have partnered to give patients access to free access to telemedicine services to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
In an interview for this story, Keith Algozzine, CEO and co-founder of United Concierge Medicine told News10:
“If we think somebody is no risk, then there’s no testing. If we think somebody is low risk, then we have to make a clinical judgment of: is this worth testing? Or do we want to self-quarantine? We work with the health department for those borderline cases.”
